Government Implements New Family Accommodation Policy for Hajj Pilgrims

The government has announced a significant initiative to facilitate families traveling together for Hajj, ensuring that all members of a family can stay at the same location in the Holy Land.

According to sources from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, this new strategy allows families to reside in the same hotel during their pilgrimage, enhancing their experience. Additionally, during the performance of Nawaafil prayers at Riyadh al-Jannah, families will have the opportunity to be together.

To address previous complaints about separate accommodations and logistical challenges, the government has instructed banks to collect applications from pilgrims belonging to the same family. Necessary guidelines have been issued to banks to streamline this process.

Officials emphasized that efforts will be made to guarantee that all family members are provided with accommodations in the same vicinity. In the past, the separation of accommodations and prayer schedules often caused difficulties for families. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain has directed the Hajj Director to ensure that pilgrims receive enhanced facilities this year.
